Boydston Cemetery is located in the Lookout Valley (Tiftonia) area of Chattanooga. Take the Browns Ferry Rd. exit #175 off Interstate 24. Travel north 1.8 miles on Browns Ferry Rd. and turn left onto Boydston Rd. The cemetery is located next to the Riverside Baptist Church. The land was given by Mr. Cavanaugh Boydston. This cemetery was first surveyed by the WPA in 1939. Several of the markers from that original survey are now missing. The names and dates of those missing markers are listed at the end of this survey. There are still many very old unmarked graves. To help preserve family relationships this survey was done by rows instead of alphabetically. Use your browser’s "find" feature to help locate surnames.
