Sivley |
Sivley Cemetery is located on Mountain Creek Road in Chattanooga, TN. From downtown Chattanooga, take Highway 27 North and then take the Signal Mountain Road exit. Turn right on to Mountain Creek Road. The cemetery is approximately 1/2 mile on the right side of the road across from the Mountain Creek Baptist Church and the intersection of the "W" Road. The land for the cemetery was donated by W. L. and J. G. Sivley. The cemetery is fenced and very well maintained. Additional information has been provided by Geraldine Sivley Donahoo.
Several markers from the original WPA survey are now missing. The names and dates of those missing markers are listed at the end of this survey. There are still many very old unmarked graves and many graves marked only with stones.
