The following have been transcribed from microfilm images of the original hand written Chattanooga City Death records located at the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Library. They encompass the recorded deaths of persons who died or were buried within the city limits of Chattanooga in the year 1913. Death certificates were not required by the State of Tennessee in 1913. Therefore, these records are the only existing documentation of deaths that occurred in Hamilton County for that year. Every attempt was made to transcribe these records as accurately as possible. However, mistakes are possible.
