Deed of Conveyance 
Thomas Davis to Washington Wolf

This Indenture made this tenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and forty three, Between Thomas Davis of the County of Hamilton and State of Tennessee of the one part and Washington Wolf of the County and State aforesaid of the other part.  Witnesseth that the said Thomas Davis, for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien ??? convey and confirm unto the said Washington Wolf and his heirs and assigns forever.  A certain tract or piece of land containing forty acres, in the south west corner of the north west quarter of Section thirty three, there Township and second range west of the Basis ... in Ocoee District and in Hamilton County.  Beginning at the south west corner of said quarter section.  To have and to hold the said forty acres of land with its ///

unto the said Washington Wolf his heirs and assigns forever as an estate of inheritance in fee simple The title to which said forty acres of land he the said Thomas Davis for himself, his heirs ??? and with the said Washington Wolf and his heirs and representatives that we will warrant and forever defend against the lawful claim or claims

of all and every person whatsoever.  In witness thereof the said Thomas Davis hath he // to set his hand and seal the day and year above written.
