The rev. Thomas R. Hardin, 76, died at his home, 201 Spring Street, Rossville, GA., at 11:15 o’clock last night.
The Rev. Hardin devoted most of his life to the pastorates of the various rural churches of north Georgia, and has been for many years a most beloved and highly esteemed man.
Surviving are his two sons, Clarence, and R. E. Hardin, of Heavner, Okla.; two granddaughters, Louise and Eugene Hardin, and a grandson, Paul Hardin, with whom he lived at the time of his demise.
The funeral, in charge of Wann, will be held at Peavine church, the Rev. G. W. McClure, assisted by E. H. Cassidy, officiating. Interment will follow at the Peavine church cemetery near one of the churches where he so faithfully served for twenty years. Services will be tomorrow at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Pallbearers are J. B. Henderson, D. W. Cooke, Frank Bradley, G. W. Campbell, J. N. Field and Mr. Kelly.
