Amos Allen "Buddy" Adams

Amos Allen "Buddy" Adams, 80, of Chattanooga, died Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his home. Buddy was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and was a retired electrician from TVA. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. Buddy was a son of the late Charlie and Dovie Massengale Adams and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Carolyn Adams; two brothers, Bob Adams, Charlie "Sparky" Adams Jr.; two sisters, Judy Ritchie and Ruby Meade. 

 Survivors include his wife, Martha Jo Skipper Adams; son, Mark Adams, East Ridge; four daughters, Laura Mills, Cleveland; Lisa Adams, Kim Adams and Dina Adams, all of Chattanooga; Vanita Lerma, California; sisters, Lorene Jones, Melbourne, Fla.; Ruth Minter, Crofton, Md.; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

 Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Brian Ceraolo officiating. Military Honors will be conducted for Mr. Adams. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3335 Ringgold Road, East Ridge, TN 37412. Visit to share words of condolences to the family.
