Robert Wall Gray

Robert Wall Gray, 94, passed away April 23, 2002, at a local hospital.

Mr. Gray was retired from Sinclair/Arco as an oil distributor and was an elder at Red Bank Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church of Soddy-Daisy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth McRee Gray, and daughter, Eleanor Gray Hall.

He is survived by his daughters, Betty (Jewell) Ray of Dayton, Tenn., and Mary Gray of Soddy-Daisy; son, David (Caroline) Gray of Brentwood, Calif., sister, Jean Masengill of Chattanooga; four grandsons, Alan Ray of Stockton, Calif., Robert Hall of Warner Robins, Ga., Joel Hall of Hoover, Ala, Larry Ray of Dayton; granddaughter, Jonna Wallace of Helena, Ala.; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev. Everett Gossett and Rev. Phil Evaul officiating.

Interment will follow in Presbyterian Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
