Georgia Ernest Million



MILLION - MRS. GEORGIA ERNEST, aged 87, passed away late Thursday from a lingering illness at the home of her son, C. G. Ernest, Rt. 2, Charleston, Tenn.  Mrs. Million was born in Whitfield County, Georgia, where she had spent most of her life.  She had made her home in Bradley County, Tennessee, for the past eight years.  She was a lifelong member of the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church in Georgia.  She is survived by four sons, C. G. and Charles B. Ernest, both of Charleston; Ed Ernest, Crandal, Ga.; Joe Ernest, Cohutta, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Ida Emmerson, Dalton, Ga.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Sherman Hughes, Cleveland, Tenn.; Mrs. Barton Whaley, Cohutta; Mrs. Lela Raines, Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Richard Bandy, Athens, Tenn.; Lee Bandy, Hale Center, Te.; Lon and Tom Bandy, both of Amarillo, Tex. Mrs. Million will lie in state at Buchner Chapel in Cleveland, Tenn., where funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. J. W. Raymer and the Rev. W. M. Bull will officiate.  Interment in the family cemetery at Cohutta, Ga., with grandsons serving as casket bearers.  Buckner Funeral Home, Cleveland directing.
