W. R. Mysinger
MYSINGER-- W.R., aged 77 years, died at his home here Monday morning at about
5 o'clock, after an illness of several months. god in His all-wise providence,
seeing fit to call this wonderful character to his eternal home, has caused the
community in which he lived to suffer a great loss. No one in the community was
held in higher esteem in every way. deceased was a Methodist by belief and
served as superintendent of the Methodist Sunday School for more than twenty
years. He was always mindful of the needs of others and his life was a service
of inspiration to all with whom he came in contact. His influence for good will
live as long as time lasts. He was married to Miss Isabelle Penney more than
fifty years, having celebrated their golden anniversary Dec. 29, 1928. Funeral
services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal
church, conducted by Rev. J. L. Chaney, assisted by Dr. Godfrey Lietz. Deceased
is survived by his widow, Mrs. Isabelle Mysinger; two sons, T. E. and W. W.
Mysinger, of Soddy; three daughters, Mrs. L. M. Smith, of Soddy; Mrs. J. G.
Roberts and Mrs. J. H. Renean, of Chattanooga. Interment will take place in the
Presbyterian cemetery at Soddy, with Hallett Undertaking company in charge.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. G. E. Harrison, E. Chauncey, W. R. Higgins,
John R. Newman, R. H. Clift, J. L. Card, Thomas Lynch, Sr., and T. H. Newberry.
Active pallbearers will be selected from the Masonic order, of which he was a
