William L. Campbell, 55, former Chattanoogan, died at a hospital in Los Angeles, Calif., yesterday morning. Mr. Campbell, who was an architect, left Chattanooga in 1922 and has been in California since that time. Mr. Campbell was the son of the late Mrs. R. P. Woodard, a former resident of Chattanooga. He was a graduate of McCallie School and Georgia Tech. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Fay Raulston of Chattanooga; a son, William L. Jr.; a daughter Mary, both of Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Charles H. Hall of Chattanooga, and a brother, Robert G. Campbell of Los Angeles. Funeral services and interment will be today in Los Angeles.
