Henry Franklin Carr

CLEVELAND, Tenn. , Nov 17 – Henry Franklin Carr, retired jewelryman and watch maker, died yesterday in a Chattanooga hospital. He had been in failing health for some months.

A native of Bradley County , Carr spent most of his life in Chattanooga . He returned to Cleveland last January and made his home with a nephew, Don Carr. He was a deacon of the Corinth Baptist Church of McDonald for over 40 years.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Miller of Lewisburg , Fla. , and a number of nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Corinth Baptist Church by Rev. Ed Chadwick. Burial will be in Lee Cemetery at McDonald.
