Mrs. Frances "Willie" Thompson-Cooper, 63, died early Tuesday
morning May 12, 1936 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas W. Koons, 3003
East Thirtieth street.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Fred W. Brown and Mrs. Koons, of
Chattanooga, and Mrs. Morton L. Hubbell of San Francisco, Cal,; five sons,
Amos Clay, John Thurman, and George Dewey Cooper of Chattanooga; William Orman
and Joseph Paul Cooper of California; four sisters, Mrs. M. L. Terry, of
Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Carrie Burton, Mrs. Tempie Putty and Miss Laura Thompson,
of Cookeville, Tenn.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Thursday morning at the
Ridgedale Church of Christ with Minister Boyd D. Fanning officiating. Further
services and interment will be held at the family cemetery at Cookeville,
Tenn.; at 4 p.m.
The body will rest at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred W. Brown until
the funeral hour. In charge J. Avery Bryan company.
