Davis, Ferroll Potts, 88, of Soddy-Daisy, died Tuesday at her home. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Mayflower Chapter 141, Order of the Eastern Star and was the widow of Ray M. Potts and Erba Davis and the mother of the late Bob and Smokey Potts. Survivors include three sons, Jim Potts, Soddy Mountain; Gerald Potts, Chattanooga; George Potts, Nashville; sister Mary Howard, Indianapolis, Ind; three brothers, Kenneth Suits, Indianapolis; Wymen Suits, Liberty, Ks; Maurice Suits, Indiana; 19 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Alton Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5p.m. Thursday at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.
