ETOWAH, Tenn., May 24.--Funeral services for James William England, 85, well-known and respected pioneer resident of Polk County, near Wetmore, who died yesterday (May 23, 1938), were conducted this morning at the Zion Hill Baptist church.  Internment was in Zion Hill Cemetery.

He is survived by four sons, David C. England, of Maryville, TN; John M. England, of Wetmore, TN; William L. England, of Chattanooga, TN; and Charles M. England, of Rossville, GA; and one daughter, Sarah Jane Poteet, of Chatsworth, GA; eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
