Arnold E. Farmer Jr., 61, of
Chattanooga, died Saturday Dec. 26, 1989 in a local hospital. Employed
by South Central Bell for 37 years, he was a U.S. Navy veteran and was
of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife Jeanette Tanner
Farmer; two sons, Arnold E. Farmer III, Chattanooga, and David S.
Farmer, Knoxville; father, Arnold E. Farmer Sr., Chattanooga; brother,
James M. Farmer, Baton Rouge, La.; three grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews. Services will be at 1 p. m. Tuesday in the funeral home
chapel with Minister John Cupp officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood
Memory Gardens, East.
