Jimmie Lee Fine, 74, of East Ridge died on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at her
home.
She was born on April 19, 1931 and was raised in Chattanooga. She was a
Christian and is now celebrating with her Lord and Savior.
Jimmie contributed greatly to the community, helped many in need and had many
personal friends. She was co-owner of Fine’s Garage and Body Shop of East
Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Lee and Mary S. Lee, four
sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John B. Fine; children,
Steve Fine and wife, Janice, Connie Williamson and husband, Mike, Sharon
Carmichael and husband, Neal, Billy Fine and wife, Julie and Renee Gordon and
husband, Jerry; eight grandchildren, Dusty Fine and wife Angel, Aimee Peek and
husband, Brent, Heather Hannah, Amanda Silvers and husband, Craig, Amber Dixon
and husband, Bill, Dana Fine, Ashlee Gordon and Jonathan Gordon; five
great-grandchildren, Nicole Fine, Austin and Abbey Silvers and Lauren and
Tyler Peek; two sisters, Marie Leamon, Harrison, TN and Connie McDaniel,
Ooltewah, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, at the East Chapel of
Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist. Burial will be in Old
McDonald Cemetery in Ooltewah, TN. Pallbearers will be Dusty Fine, Mike Lee,
Woody Woods, Craig Silvers, Tim Arendale and Brent Peek.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the
funeral home.
