H. Ogden Fitzgerald

Retired USAF S. Sgt. H. Ogden Fitzgerald, age 62, of Washington, D.C., died
Thursday in Washington. He was a former resident of the Chattanooga and
Ooltewah area and was a member of the Ooltewah United Methodist Church. A
veteran of World War II and the Korean War, he was retired from the U.S.
Air Force with more than 25 years of service and at the time of his retirement
he was with the Strategic Air Command. Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Helen G. Fitzgerald; a son, Herbert O. Fitzgerald, Jr. of Silver
Springs, MD; three sisters, Miss Eliza Fitzgerald, Mrs. Nina McArthur and Mrs.
Helen Genter; a brother, E. L. Fitzgerald, all of Ooltewah, and several nieces
and nephews. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Chattanooga funeral Home
pending the arrival of the body.
