FRYAR - MRS. ALLIE FRYAR, aged 68, died at the residence of her
daughter, Mrs. J. M. C. Townsend at Wildwood, Ga., early Friday morning. She is
survived by two daughters, Mrs. J. M. C. Townsend of Wildwood and Mrs. Ada
Robbins of Chattanooga; two sons, J. B. and P. F. Fryar of Chattanooga, father
W. B. Thompson of Chattanooga; two brothers, Hill and Pleasant Thompson of
Chattanooga; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services,
conducted by the Rev. W. A. Peak, Rev. John E. Merrill and Rev. Allen Newby,
will be held from the chapel of the National Funeral Home this afternoon at 3:30
o'clock. Interment will be in Fryar cemetery. Pallbearers will be W. S.
Thompson, Fred Jackson, Bryan Fryar, J. C. Robbins, D. V. Miller, Iley Thompson,
Arthur Bradley and H. C. Hines. The body will remain at the National Funeral
Home until the hour of service.
