Elmore Archie Fryar, 82, passed away at his home on Harrison Bay Road on Monday, April 25, 2005.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Archie was an avid wood worker, home builder and painter.  He loved his motorcycles and horses, he was a very talented man.
 
Mr. Fryar was the owner of Archie's Carpet Service for many years, and retired from American Manufacturing Co.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Grover Cleveland Fryar Sr. and Frances Davis Fryar; sisters Sara Louise Fryar Kent, Margie Fryar Shields and Mary Frances Fryar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Emma Ann Lowe Fryar, of Harrison; one daughter, Charlotte Ann Venettozzi, of West Virginia; grandaughter, Kristi A. Miller, of Ooltewah; brother, William Thomas Fryar of Soddy-Daisy; sister, Betty Mae Larson, of East Ridge; alone with a very special friend, Larry Burris, of Ringglod; several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be on Thursday, April 28, 2005, at 11 a.m. in the highway 58 chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Brother Herbert Stokes officiating.
 
Burial will follow in New McDonald Cemetery, East View.
