Grover Cleveland Fryar Jr.,
81, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, in a local
hospital.
He was a highly decorated veteran of the U. S. Army with 30 years of
service, retired as a sergeant first class.
He is survived by his brothers, Arch E. Fryar of Harrison, William
T. Fryar of Doddy-Daisy; sisters, Betty P. Larson and Sara Louise
Kent, both of Chattanooga; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p. m. today, Jan. 4, at Tyner
Cemetery with Rev. Dale Lovelady officiating.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
