Pleasant F. Fryar

      FRYAR - P. F., AGE 73, 1418 O'Grady Dr., died Thursday in a local hospital. He was a member of the Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Tennessee State Highway Department. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Laura Fryar; three sons, Joseph B. Fryar, Clyde F. Fryar and Jack F. Fryar all of Chattanooga; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Robbins of Red Bank; and Mrs. Eva Townsend of Atlanta; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the West Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, with Dr. W. A. Peak and Rev. Tom Ibach officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, West. Pallbearers will be nephews. The body is at Chattanooga Funeral Home, West Chapel where the family will receive friends Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
