George Jacob Geohring

George Jacob Geohring died yesterday afternoon at his home, 506 Battery Place . He was born Jan. 16, 1856 near Harmony, Pa. , and came to this city in 1881. He had been a member of the First Methodist Church since coming to Chattanooga , having been a member of the old Pine street church. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Tyner Goehring; two daughters, Mrs. John Ross Scott, of this city and Mrs. E. E. Everett, of Sand Springs, Okla.; two grandchildren, Barbara and Ellen Jean Scott; two sisters and eight brothers, Funeral arrangements will not be announced until arrival of members of the family.
