Mrs. Hannah Gossett, widow of Richard Gossett, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Hornwood, 4002 St. Elmo avenue, at 7 o’clock Sunday night, aged 82.
She was one of the oldest and best known residents of Lookout Valley, where she had lived for many years and had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church for sixty years.
Three daughters and three sons survive. The daughters are Mrs. Thomas Hornwood, Mrs. Minnie Snyder and Mrs. Susie Simpson. The sons are J. T., G. O., and J. G. Gossett.
The funeral will be held at 10 o’clock this morning from the residence in St. Elmo, the Rev. True officiating. Interment will be in Parker cemetery, near Wauhatchie.The Chattanooga Times, Tuesday, September 30, 1913.
