Retired From Sears After 20 Years
Dorothy Guinn, 93, of Red Bank, died on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006.
Dorothy had been a member of St. Elmo Avenue Baptist Church for over 50 years
and was most recently a member of Red Bank Baptist Church.
She was a member of United Daughters of the Confederacy, Colonial Dames of the
Seventeenth Century and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was retired
from Sears after 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Lewis L. Guinn;
parents, Frank M. and Dovey F. Norton; daughter, Dorothy "Betty" McNulty;
son-in-law, Harvey McNulty; son, Lewis N. Guinn; granddaughters, Roxanne McNulty
and Noreen Guinn.
She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Anne (Jack)
Bryant, Red Bank; son, Leon (Margaret) Guinn, Ringgold, Ga.; daughter-in-law,
Wilma Guinn, Ooltewah; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; five
great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Coulter Chapel of
Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Givens and Bill Harvey officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home and
one hour before the service Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
