HACKNEY, CLEATUS, 78, of Clift Rd., Soddy-Daisy, died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Mandy Penney Hackney, North Hamilton county Pioneers. Survivors include a son, Donald R. Hackney, Soddy-Daisy; two daughters, Bobbie Jo Hackney and Ruth Etta Parks, both of Hixson; two brothers, Willard Hackney, Soddy-Daisy, and Millard Hackney, Fredericksburg, Va.; four sisters, Flora Wright, Chattanooga, Beadle Porter and Loraine Posey, both of Soddy-Daisy, and Geraldine Uren, Flint, MI; four grandchildren, five great-grand children; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Soddy-daisy Church of God. Burial will be in Presbyterian cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. today at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home, Soddy-Daisy.
