J. D. Helton, aged 63, died suddenly yesterday afternoon at his home, 4313 Olhs Street, Alton Park.  He is survived by his wife, five sons, C. F. and George Helton, of Nashville; Leonard, Paul and Henry Helton, of this city, five daughters, Mrs. Jessie Moody, of Nashville; Mrs. Bertha Ingram, of Atlanta; Miss Stella Helton, of Charlotte, N. C. and Misses Gerta and Edna Helton, of this city.  Mr. Helton was a member of the East Lake Baptist Church and of the East Lake Council of the Junior Order.  Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Drs. Thomas Smith and Bartow McFarland officiating.  Services at the grave will be in charge of the Junior Order.  Pallbearers will be chosen from the Order.
