Hickey--Jess Enoch, age 50, died Saturday morning (May 8, 1948) at his residence, St. Elmo Route No. 3. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. O'Nell Hickey; one daughter Mrs. Jack (Betty) Pinion, Ringgold, GA; four sons, Harrison, Enoch, Norris and Fred Hickey, all of Chattanooga; six brothers, Dr. Homer Hickey and William Hickey of Chattanooga; Brosier Hickey, Santa Rosa, CA; John, Carl, and Fred Hickey, of Miami, FL; Mrs. David (Zadie) England, Maryville, TN; Mrs. John (Cora) England, Ducktown, TN. Private funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the chapel of the National Funeral Home, with Rev. E. E. McAllister conducting. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.  Active pallbearers will be Carl Burney, Richard Burney, Joe Burney, Henry Jones, Bobby Jones, and J. R. McDaniel.  Honorary pallbearers will be William Hayes and E. H. Norwood.  The body will remain at the funeral home until the hour of the service.
