Mary Pitts Hickey

Hickey-- Mrs. Mary, 85, of 1709 Oklawaha Ave., Rossville, died Sunday (Feb. 8, 1981) in a local hospital.  The widow of Fred H. Hickey, she was a native of Bradley County, TN, and had lived in Miami, Fla., for a number of years prior to moving here six months ago.  Survivors include two brothers, Robert Pitts, San Bernandio, CA; Clarence Pitts, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; seven sisters, Mrs. Martha Ann Huff, Akron, OH; Mrs. Addie Murphy, Nashville; Mrs. Ollie Cothran, Rossville; Mrs. Estella Mathis, Murfressboro, TN; Mrs. Frances Walker, Tampa, FL; Mrs. Clara Prescott, Wrightsville, GA; Mrs. Nell Murphey, Tampa; several nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with the Rev. Murray Mathis officiating.  Following services here, the body will be sent to the Bess Funeral Home in Miami for further services and burial in the Vista Memorial Gardens.  The family is receiving friends at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, Inc.
