Walter James Hickey
1895 - 1947

Walter James Hickey, age 52 years, of 2029 N. W. 87th St., passed away Friday (November 28, 1947).  He is survived by his wife, Bertie; seven brothers, Fred H. Hickey, Jess  E. Hickey, John C. Hickey, Carl W. Hickey, Dr. Homer D. Hickey, William T. Hickey, and Brosier S. Hickey; four sisters, Cora (Mrs. John) England, Zadie (Mrs. David) England, May Belle (Mrs. Joe) Burney, Roxie (Mrs. Oliver) Suit; and a brother-in-law.  Services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday in Combs Funeral Chapel with Rev. Y. W. Kidd officiating.  Interment in Southern Memorial Cemetery.
