HICKS – MRS. FRANCIS M. (FANNIE), age 89, of 1807 Ocoee Street, died Thursday night in a local hospital. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ernest Weaver of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Mrs. Charlie Teague of Rossville, Ga.; three sons, Melvin, Roe and Carl Hicks, all of Chattanooga; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Dean of Chattanooga; three brothers, Lester McKee, Jim McKee and Clarence McKee, all of Chattanooga; also 22 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon from the Assembly Church of God, with the Rev. Edward Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Tyner Cemetery. The body is at the residence. Active pallbearers will be Jimmie Eddie and Robert Swofford, Leroy Stuckey, Bud Jenkins and Billy Joe Davis. Arrangements by the R. J. Coulter Funeral Home.
