LOVELADY – DAN A., 82 , Soddy , Tenn. , Rt. No. 2, died Monday night at the residence. He was a retired farmer and a lifelong resident of Soddy. Survivors are five sons, Clyde William Lovelady, Soddy; James L. Lovelady, Daisy; Fred M. Lovelady, Chattanooga ; Sevier A. Lovelady, St. Elmo, and Pryor McKinney Lovelady, Hixson, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. E. R. Sneed, Mrs. J. T. Neighbors and Mrs. Roy Smith, all of Soddy. Also 28 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 this afternoon from the Coulter Funeral Home in Soddy, with Rev. J. W. Davenport and Rev. Russo Franklyn officiating. Interment will be in Lovelady Cemetery . Active pallbearers will be Bert Weeks, Albert Elder, Henry Gravitt, Troy Bell, Jess Sneed and Homer Richie. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Holmes, C. A. Miller, Leslie Pollard,Matt Card, Joe Green, A. D. Skiles and Joe Gravitt. The body will remain at the R. J. Coulter Funeral Home in Soddy.
