Zona Edna Denney Monger of
Lenoir City died Thursday Mar. 10, 1994 in a Loudon Health Care
Center. She was 100.
She was a native of Chattanooga and a daughter of Jerry Eli and
Alice Blake Denney.
Mrs. Monger was a member of the Lenoir City Church Of Christ and the
American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer monger.
Survivors include three sons, John Monger Paducah, Ky., James
Monger, Lenoir City and Roy Monger Knoxville; five grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren; half sisters, Ida Mae Payne, Amarillo,
Texas, Faye Pendleton, Troutdale, Ore., Inez Lewis, Freson, Calif.,
and Mildred Monds Tanner, Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be today at 8 p.m. at Click Funeral Home with Pastor
Kent Bailey officiating.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lenior City
Cemetery.
