Cleveland, Tenn. – Adam G. Moon, 79, of the Harrison
community, died at a Chattanooga hospital Monday afternoon. He had been
ill for some time.
Mr. Moon was a lifelong resident of the Harrison
community in northern Hamilton County.
Surviving are two sons, Luther Moon, Chattanooga,
Herman Moon, Harrison, a daughter, Mrs. Rupert Burks, Chattanooga; a brother,
Robert Moon, Chattanooga, two sisters, Mrs. Lula Burdette, Charleston, Tenn.;
Mrs. Maude Ferguson, Decatur, Tenn., seven grandchildren, four great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at
Friendship Baptist Church near Harrison, with the Rev. James Malone and the Rev.
W. C. Slayton officiating. Burial will be in Bald Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Paul Eldridge, Edward Malone, J. W. Davis, Arthur Ford, Marvin
Ford, and Phillip Johnson. The body is at the Goodner Funeral Home in
Cleveland.
