Betty "Ruth" Morgan, 71, died on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, at her home.
She was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga, and was a member of Lakeway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jay Morgan(1968) ; her parents, Linda Mae and James Roberts; seven sisters, Jimmie Easter, Lillian Ramsey, Mary Manus, Thelma Elkins, Pearl Cross, Mildred Roberts and Margaret Smith; one brother, Charlie Roberts.
She is survived by two sons, Ricky (Jeannie) Morgan of Harrison, Ronald (Beverly) Morgan of Ringgold, Ga.; one sister, Imegene Cantrell; eight grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Highway 58 Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating.
Burial will follow in Old McDonald Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Turner Funeral Home, Highway 58 Chapel, 894-2012.
