Mrs. Matilda Norris, 85, died at her home early yesterday morning. She is survived by four sons, R. L. of Rome GA; Floyd H. of Fort Payne, Ala; Roy of Thomasville, NC and W. J. Norris of Chattanooga; four daughters, Mrs. Alma Lingerfelt, Mrs. D.A. Galloway, Mrs. Mary Trotter, and Mrs. Lizzie Spray of Chattanooga, and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the East Chattanooga Church of God at 2 pm today, the Rev. Ellis officating.

Pallbearers will be Frank Trotter, Lee Trotter, Willie Lingerfelt, Herbert Galloway, Clifford Galloway and Floyd Norris. Internment will follow in the Greenwood Memorial Park. Arrangements in charge of Smith's.
