BROWN-EDWIN, 84, died Tuesday morning at the residence, 2817
East 12th Street. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie Brown,
Chattanooga; three sons, Oscar E., Fred W. and Robert L Brown, Chattanooga; one
daughter, Mrs. T. A. Denson, Chattanooga; one brother Walker R. Brown,
Chattanooga; one sister, Mrs. Dora Wilson; four grandchildren. Funeral services
will be held at 1:30 Thursday afternoon from the chapel of the National Funeral
Home, with Revs. E. B. Shivers and W. O. Mitchell officiating. Interment will be
in Donaldson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Raymond Edens, Oscar Kelley,
Leighhton Brown, Tom Lerch, Charlie Lerch, Tom Koons. Honorary pallbearers will
be J. A. Carson, Walter Lerch, Pat Lerch, Will Stutz, Claude Easter, F. B.
Montgomery, W. E. Blessing, J. E. Alsobrook, W. B. Martin, R. L. Nelson, . A.
Erickson, H. B. Estes, Tom Woodley and Ed Woodley. The body will remain at the
funeral home.
