Matthews "Finney" Crow
F. M. Crowe, aged 70 years, died at his home on Stewart Street, East Chattanooga, yesterday morning at 11:30 o'clock after a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs., J. J. Rose, of this city. He was a member of Gem Lodge I. O. O. F., No. 42. The funeral will be held from the United Brethren Church this afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. J. Wesley Smith, assisted by the Rev. V. M. McGee, officiating. Interment will be in the Jefferson Street graveyard. The pallbearers are C. M., A. T. and G. T. Rose and R. S. Gaines, O. T. Humble and Thomas Evans. The services at the grave will be in charge of the Odd Fellows.
Attention Odd Fellows - All members of Gem Lodge No. 42 are requested to meet at 12:45 o'clock today at the residence of the late brother, F. M. CROWE, corner Stuart and Beck Streets, East Chattanooga, to attend the funeral services. All visiting brothers are requested to attend.

F. M. Crowe is buried at the Jefferson Street graveyard, Worley Cemetery, Wilcox Blvd., Avondale, Chattanooga, TN. His gravestone reads "At Rest" -- "Asleep in Jesus, Blessed Sleep".
