Davis, Mrs. Maggie, age 82, died early Monday morning at the residence of her
daughter, Mrs. Paul Painter, Soddy, Tenn, Rt 2. She is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Paul Painter, Mrs. Florence Landreth, Mrs. Harry Mills, all
of Soddy, Tenn,; one son, Will Davis, Soddy, Tenn,; also several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday
at 10 o'clock in the morning at the residence of Mrs. Painter in Soddy, with
Rev. Thomas Shields officiating. Interment will be in Wilcox Cemetery. The
following nephews will serve as pallbearers: Eulas, Lawrence, and Erba Davis,
Willis and Zelus Redden, and Doyle James. Her body will be taken to the home of
Mrs. Paul Painter Tuesday morning. National Funeral home in care of
arrangements.
