Davis, Marion G,
(Don), 23, residing at 607 Vine Street, was fatally injured in a motorcycle
accident early Sunday morning. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Lorena Davis,
Soddy, Tenn,; two sisters, Anna Lee Davis of Soddy and Mrs. Tressia Lucille
Hindman of Daisy, Tenn.; one brother, Johnny Davis, Soddy. Funeral services,
conducted by the Rev. Tom Dodd, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon
from the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Wilcox Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Charles Kersey, H.D. Woods, James D. McMurray,
Charles Meredith, W.O. Walker and Miley Chasteen; honorary pallbearers are
Virgil Hindley, Vernon Adams, A.V. Holcomb, Tom Jarvis, Kenneth Baker and Fred
Gavner. The body will be taken to the home of his mother at 10 o'clock this
morning to remain until the funeral hour. Arrangements are by the National
Funeral Home.
