FITZGERALD, TAVNER HERBERT Of 8313 E. Brainerd Road , a life-long resident of Hamilton County died Friday afternoon in a local hospital.  He was the son of the late W. A. and Catherine Masoner Fitzgerald.  Mr. Fitzgerald was a retired insurance man.  He was a member of the Westview Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  Survivors are his wife, Anne Knauff Fitzgerald; a daughter, Mrs. Wendell B. Hudson, Chattanooga ; a son James T. Roberson, Chattanooga ; three grandchildren, the Rev. W. Laurens Hudson, Ewing , VA ; Gary Robertson and Patti Robertson, both of Chattanooga ; one great granddaughter, Laura Ellen Hudson, Ewing , Va.  A family service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, prior to graveside service at 3:30 p.m.   Sunday in Forest Hills Cemetery , with the Rev. E. Edwin Sain officiating.  The body is at the Wann Funeral Home, Inc., 2000 Tennessee Avenue .
