Henry
McNelly, age 79, employee of the City of Chattanooga in the streets and sewers
department for the last fifteen years, died at his home, 2300 North Chamberlain
Ave. Thursday afternoon. He is
survived by five daughters, Mesdames Houston (Loma) Godfrey, R.C. (Edith) Reeves, George (Easter) Poole, Cora Pool and
Mrs. Beulah Smith, all of Chattanooga. One
brother, Nep McNelly of Daisy; one sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Pasco of Daisy; also
twenty-eight grandchildren and three great-grand-children.
The body will be at the residence after 10 a.m. today.
Funeral
services will be held at the Chamberlain Ave. Baptist Church at 3 o'clock
tomorrow with the Rev. A. A. McClanahan officiating.
Interment
will be in Greenwood cemetery. Pallbearers:
Jim Wilson, John Riddle, Linton Davis, Thomas L. Boone, Bob Pickens and
John Mahaffey.
