NICHOLS – Funeral services for James Perry Nichols, 60, who died Thursday morning at his home on Cummings Highway, will be held at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon at Cummings Chapel, the Rev Floyd Irvin officiating. Interment in Cummings Cemetery. Pallbearers: A. W. Kelley, Earl Gledhill, James Sexton, Ben Brackett, Charlie Bolton and Claude Ridge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hattie Elizabeth Nichols; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Perry, Mrs. Homer Ridge, Chattanooga; two sons, Earl G. Nichols, U. S. Army, and Floyd Cheney Nichols, Chattanooga, and one brother, Chess Nichols, Chattanooga. The body is at the home. Arrangements by J. Avery Bryan Company.
