BENTON, Tenn., July 22--Isaac Nicholson, aged 84, died here at 9 p.m. tonight. He was a soldier in the Union army. He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Howell Nicholson, aged 86, to whom he was married the day Zachary Taylor was inaugurated president. His living children, all of whom were present at his deathbed, are as follows: J. Harvey Nicholson, Ridgedale; A. C. B. Nicholson, of Chattanooga; Newton S. Nicholson, Ridgedale; Mrs. Mary Burns, of East

Chattanooga; R. T. Nicholson of Benton. He was a member of the Methodist church
