Sarah Jane Rose -
Mrs. Rose was the
widow of James J. Rose and was the last surviving charter member of the King
Memorial Methodist Church.
Survivors, four
daughters, Mrs. Humble, Mrs. Lillie Evans, Mrs. Effie Gaines and Mrs. Dessie
Gaines, Chattanooga; three sons, C. M. and G. T. Rose, Chattanooga, and A. F.
Rose, Flint, Michigan; thirty-three grandchildren, thirty-two
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services
will be held at the King Memorial church today at 2:30 p.m., the Revs. C. E.
Wilson, J. N. Bull and C. P. Hardin officiating.
Interment will be in Greenwood cemetery. Pallbearers: T. C. Solomon, G. W. Perry, Bob Burns, Cromer
Blair, L. J. LeCroy and W. L. Sims. Members
of the Outland class will be honorary pallbearers.
ROSE-MRS. SARAH JANE, 84, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Julia Humble, 2917 Curtis Street, yesterday morning. Survivors, four daughters, Mrs. Humble, Mrs. Lillie Evans, Mrs. Effie Gaines, Mrs. Dessie Gaines; sons, C. M. and G. T. rose, Chattanooga; A. F. Rose, Flint, Michigan. The body is at the residence 1907 Stewart Street. Funeral today, 2:30 at King Memorial church. Revs. C. E. Wilson, J. N. Bull and C. P. Hardin. Interment Greenwood cemetery, arrangements by Henson-Wallace Funeral Home.
