Dies – Funeral Today

Mrs. Mary Fryar
Parker, wife of W. F. Parker, 4410 St. Elmo avenue, died yesterday afternoon at
2. Mrs. Parker was born Sept.16, 1848 at the present site of Lookout Station.
The deceased was a member of one of the oldest and best known families of
Hamilton county. For many years she was a member of the St. Elmo Church of
Christ, from which the funeral will be held this afternoon at 4 o’clock, the
Rev. E. V. Hoover, assisted by the Rev. A. Clark officiating. Interment will
follow in Forest Hills Cemetery. Following will be pallbearers: Oscar Chrisman,
A. P. Langford, Albert Freidell, E. J. Huber, W. M. Quiegley and G. B. Light.
Mrs. Parker is survived by her husband; three daughters, the Misses Frances,
Sarah and Margaret Parker; three sons, Jerry, Louis and John Parker, and two
brothers, James and Sevier Fryar.
