Benjamin F. Ramsey, age 84, resident of Chattanooga many years, died at his home, 3500 Clio avenue, East Lake, Sunday morning. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Josie Ramsey; three daughters, Mrs. Lillie Green, Mrs. Belle Dunn, and Mrs. Nettie Smith; two sons, Hale and Nathan Ramsey, all of Chattanooga; several neices and nephews; also eighteen grandchildren. His body will remain at the residence until the funeral hour. Funeral services will be held at the Clifton Hills Baptist church at 3 p.m. today with the Rev. H. D. Goolsby and Rev. W. L. Swartz officiating. Pallbearers, Ralph Ledford, James Bledsoe, M. V. Davis, Lonnie Massey, Gordon Hatfield, Lester Gay, W. E. O'Neal and A. G. Harris. Interment Chattanooga Memorial park, arrangements by Smith Funeral Service.
