RAY – JAMES M., age 88, 6201 Laguana Dr. , died Thursday in a local hospital. He was a member of the Lake Vista United Methodist Church . He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Daisy Teague Ray; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Dunn, Miss Minnie Ray, Mrs. T. L. Dunn, Mrs. J. R. Nelson and Mrs. Ruth Englebird; two sons, Paul Ray and Jack Ray, all of Chattanooga; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the West Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Revs. Ray McDougle and Robert Smith officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery . Pallbearers meeting at the funeral home at 2:15 p.m. will be R. D. Campbell, Raymond Chambers, Arthur Simcox, Charles E. Teague, Floyd Gilliland and J. L. Teague. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men’s Bible Class of the Lake Vista United Methodist Church . The body is at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, West Chapel.
