REDMAN - WILLIAM ALFRED SR., 50, of Humberd Road, Cleveland Tenn., died Thursday in a Cleveland hospital. He was a native of Meigs County and had moved to Cleveland six years ago. He was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Knight Redman; three daughters, Connie Hall, Harrison, Debbie Boggs, Hayward, Calif., and Priscilla Pickel, Cleveland; three sons, James, John and William A. Redman Jr., all of Cleveland; three sisters, Jimmie Ruth Hughes and Phyllis Jernigan, both of Sante Fe Springs, Calif., and betty O’Rear, Orlando, Fla.; brother, John Carter Redman, Newport, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Bartlebaugh Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the Valley View Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
