Owen O. Robinson,
93, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, in a local health care
facility.
He was born in
Cannon County, Tenn., lived
most of his life in Chattanooga and was o the Baptist faith.
Mr. Robinson was a former employee of the City of Chattanooga
where he worked with the Safety
Lane.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth
Carden Robinson; parents,
William Hays Robinson and Una
Jane Adams Robinson; three brothers, Leonard, Lincoln and
Kenneth Robinson; and three sisters, Bonnie Mae Jones,
Wenzola
Kiger and
Reinza Robinson.
Survivors include one son, Emmett Robinson,
Chattanooga; one daughter, Elizabeth R. Olsen,
Tullahoma,
Tenn.; one sister, Jeanette
Gray, Chattanooga; six grandchildren, Sandra Peterson,
Chattanooga, Gary Robinson, Fort
Oglethrope, Darrin
Robinson, Rossville, John
Olsen, Jr., Tullahoma,
Rosanna Salmon,
Waskom, Texas, and James
Olsen, Alexandria, Va.;
seven great- grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at
the East Chapel of the Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev.
John Andrus officiating.
Interment will be in
Chattanooga Memorial Park.
