Katherine Elizabeth Scoggins, 90, of Red Bank, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2007, in Lifecare of Red Bank.

Born in Harrison, she was the daughter of the late Daniel  Jewel (1893 - 1981)and Mae Monger Scoggins. **NOTE:  Daniel is the son of Thomas Newton Scoggins (1858 - 1920) and Sarah Elizabeth Estes Scoggins (1878 - 1926) -- of Harrison.

She had been an employee of Carter Bros. and Dixie Savings Store and was a former longtime member of East Chattanooga Baptist Church. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and the Amytie Sunday School Class and a former member of the Prime Timers and Prime Time Singers.

She is survived by several cousins and loving caretakers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, with the Rev. Bert Jones officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Funeral Home, Coulter Chapel, 601 Ashland Terrace.
